Child Safety
You may have heard, in the news recently, that there has been another fatal accident involving a child and venetian blind cords in America .So here at Direct Order Blinds we have changed the way we manufacture Perfect Fit Venetian Blinds. Instead of them being cord operated we have now changed them to being "tensioned", this entails fixing a handle on the base rail so you can operate your blind and place it in any position easily. Louvolite Perfect Fit Blinds gets Exciting!

Louvolite targets homes through high quality advertising campaign
In September 2007 Louvolite launched its latest commercial venture into the retail sector. A national marketing campaign was devised to spearhead the promotion of the Louvolite Perfect Fit window blind system into homes all around the UK.
The six-month mainstream campaign involves a series of what the company calls ‘high quality adverts’, which will appear in a number of specialist home furnishing magazines and Sunday supplements, designed to demonstrate all of the key features and benefits that this window blind will deliver in an entertaining and informative style. The company says the main thrust of the campaign is to heighten the profile and produce awareness of Perfect Fit in the high street retail sector. Louvolite explained: “The stylish, aspirational photography will inspire the general public to make an informed decision about their choice of window blinds.”
Readers will be advised to go to their nearest window blind retailer and ‘ask for Perfect Fit’ by name! Alternatively customers will be able to contact Louvolite directly to find out where the nearest Louvolite Perfect Fit dealer is located.
In a slightly different branch of the media Louvolite were approached to contribute their window blind products and expertise as part of the ’60-minute Makeover’ programme on ITV.
Louvolite was involved with installing its blinds into two separate properties over the summer, one located in North Wales and one in Manchester.
Viewer’s and window blind makers alike can enjoy the finished results when the new series of ’60 minute Makeover’ is aired in Spring 2008.
